WORKING WITH MUSLIM YOUTH - WORKSHOP

Muslim Youth Skills is pleased to announce that it is delivering a 3 hour workshop on 'Working With Muslim Youth'.

Details

This workshop will cover the essential building-blocks that constitute 'Muslim Youth Work', how this can enable greater community participation of Muslim youth and how it can help with addressing contemporary issues and challenges they face. The workshop has been specifically designed for Muslim workers and draws from the authentic sources of Islam. It is ideal if you want to gain a better understanding of how to explore youth work, faith and culture from a Muslim context.

 

The workshop will also cover: 'Qualities of a Muslim Youth Da'ee", for all those who are passionate about fulfilling their role as a Youth Da'ee (a missionary who calls youth to Islam) and want to improve their da'wah (invitation) methods.

 

 

No previous experience is needed, just a passion to make a difference in the lives of others.

 

Ample opportunity will be available for discussion and enquiry to enable participants to explore this area of work.

 

 

This workshop is for:

Youth & Community Workers, Youth Organisations, Imaams, Madrassah Teachers, Mentors, and anyone who has an interest in working with young Muslims. The workshop will also be able to enable greater understand of issues and challenges for parents of teenagers.

 

 

 

 

Cost: FREE, but there is a charge of £20 for resource materials and refreshments.
